Spiritual Pearl Harbor

We need prayer like never before. A month ago a severe attack of false accusation began against Brian that has already cost us dearly in reputation, income, and relationships.

We have gone back and forth about going public with this character assassination campaign because those who have had the slander “shared” with them have already formed

opinions without even asking us if this false witness was telling anything true. And, if you haven’t heard yet, it puts us in the position of further spreading a filthy libel.

However, a couple spiritual leaders who do have our backs and are standing with us, including our pastor and church, have encouraged us to mobilize our prayer support and get the facts out, regardless of unforeseen consequence. The lies are now traveling through Christian keyboards under the guise of “Have you heard . . . Thought you needed to know . . . “.

Okay, I am still with you. What can I do about this?

All we’re asking of you is this:

1. 1. Read the attached.
   2. If you want more information, including the text of this woke woman’s cancel post against Brian, just ask us! We will send it ASAP. Please resist the temptation to search the internet as that just pushes it further up on Google and other social media.
   3. PRAY. For Protection, Favor, Vindication, Provision, Restoration and Healing for our hearts. Our income has been devastated by class cancellations and attendant opportunities and sell books (perspectives USA has suspended Brian until all this is cleared up) and by legal costs. Pray against bitterness finding a home. We have been so disappointed in the responses of many, including some very old friends. More than anything we want to respond like Jesus!
   4. Only share this news if it comes up and the person is lacking facts or believing the Enemy. Satan doesn’t need any help in disseminating this stuff.
   5. Be true to God’s Word and God’s ways. If you feel that we have some sin, come to us and share with us to bring correction. Many have repeated the slanderous account of one stranger who opposes the Kingdom, almost none have checked it out. No one has confronted us about any sin they feel we have commited. 1 Timothy 5:19 instructs that charges against church leaders should not be accepted without multiple credible witnesses (of which there are exactly zero to these allegations). This principle is designed to protect leaders from false accusations and ensure due process.

Therefore . . .

Finally, though we do honestly tremble with fear in posting this in a public forum – we know the antidote. Perfect Love casts out fear. Perfect Love is a Person and He is FOR us. If He is for us who can be against us. Some may choose to take advantage of our transparency and try to further injure us, but God is going to triumph. We love you and love believes all things. We choose to believe in a large group of folks across the globe that have “thrown in with us” as we pursue God’s Kingdom.
